A very poor experience.. We had our function with 60 people. 10 us didnt eat meat and the venue was informed of it. Still there was no mains without meat. They simply put 2 croquettes as our main which was a side dish in one of the other mains. And the croquettes were very average. When I provided the feedback to the manager, I felt it could have been handled better. Disappointing considering the type of venue it is and the price tag it comes with.

If you intend to host your wedding day on Hamilton Island please be aware that it is a privately owned island and you can't bring in outside professionals to work at your wedding. There is a link on their website of things you "Need to Know" which you should read carefully.I know someone who booked her wedding here and she was not aware she could not bring in her own photographer until a few months out from her wedding. I have also heard this from two other people since which makes me believe there is a lack of communication going on about this restriction.
