Extremely bland an very overpriced for what it was. It was sustenance. We each got two margaritas: one watermelon and one classic. They tasted like water, a smidge of tequila, and three drops of watermelon or lime, respectively. The corn chips with quac were soggy and again extremely bland. We decided to not push our luck with any additional food. They really take advantage of their captive audience. At least the staff was pleasant.

We love our Mexican food and we were really excited to learn of the newest restaurant at Hamilton Island. First night of our stay, we went straight to Tako. How disappointing... the Taco wraps fell apart as soon as you picked them up and the flavors werent fantastic. Kids meals were disgusting - rice was very over cooked and gluggy. They need a new chef that is happy to cook fresh and not buy everything precooked. Prices very high given the very small portion sizes. We will not be revisiting nor recommending this restaurant. Service however was fantastic.

Im Mexican, thus Ive had my fair share of authentic and non authentic Mexican restaurant. Regardless of authenticity, some restaurants can still bring great flavors and their take on Mexican food. NOT the case here. Not only is it not authentic but its no where at a flavor profile for the prices theyre charging the customer. I mean they have store bought tortillas and they sell an enchilada with mole that looks like a poor quesadilla with a swirl of Chile sauce on top. At most, this is more of a knock off Tex-Mex place.

Food was really delicious and had very interesting combinations of food. Very attentive service and quick turn around of food. Pretty view of the sunset as well.

Brilliant place. Not snobby with bookings like many of the rest. I ate an entire habanero and the kitchen laughed their heads off. Then gave me milk and a secret delicious super spicy sauce to top off a wonderful night. Will return...
